Jockey is seeking a Data Scientist to join our IT team!
JOB SUMMARY
Jockey is looking to fill a Data Scientist role with a dedicated analytics and modeling partner in our Product Solutions Pillar. This role, along with a Technical Product Manager (TPM), create a cohesive unit responsible for the end-to-end ownership of a product domain. This is a dynamic role, splitting time between collaborating on new product initiatives, while supporting the ongoing business intelligence needs of our stakeholders. You empower the business with data-informed decision making through in-depth data analysis and modeling.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
- Partner with TPM in all phases of the product lifecycle, from initial data exploration during discovery to hands-on development and post-launch analysis.
- Conduct deep-dive data analysis to validate hypotheses, identify trends, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Manage and support the ongoing BI and reporting needs of the business, ensuring our stakeholders have the data they need to operate effectively.
- Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources to prepare them for analysis.
- Apply statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends, build predictive models, and forecast outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in business or technical domain.
- 2+ years of experience in data science or other technical role.
