About The Role Come and join one of Kinetic ITs largest account in East Perth and assist with managing their network capability. Working closely with the Senior Engineer you will provide network support

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide day-to-day BAU support and maintenance of the DOE network environment, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless and connectivity.
  • Configure, manage and troubleshoot Cisco networking infrastructure, Fortinet firewalls and F5 Load Balancers, ensuring network availability, performance and security.
  • Manage network incidents, service requests and changes through ServiceNow, following ITIL, change-management and client governance processes.
  • Monitor network performance and availability, troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to resolve network issues and support infrastructure changes.
  • Nice to have: Experience with AWS and/or Azure networking.
  • Participate in an on-call roster, approximately 1 week in every 4 weeks.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Proven track record as a network engineer, bonus if its within an enterprise environment
  • Exposure to CISCO; Fortinet; F5 Load Balancers, ServiceNow
  • Any Azure/Cloud exposure would be a bonus
