As a Security Testing Specialist Sr within PNC's Technology Security organization, you will be based in Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Birmingham, AL; Dallas, TX; Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.
An ideal candidate will have:
•Advanced Python Mastery & Software Engineering o Expertise writing clean, reusable and maintainable python code. o Strict adherence to software engineering standards, patterns and architectures. o Deep familiarity with Git usage and context, including guiding complex operations and o Experiencing managing and maintaining consistency across Linux based remote development environments. o Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortem processes.
•Databasing & Data Modeling o Expertise in storing and interacting with large tables via Oracle SQL. o Understanding of database execution techniques, indexing and schema strategies, and query optimization o Experience with ETL/ELT patterns and frameworks, and the ability to develop novel ones from scratch to solve complex requirements. o Deep understanding of data quality frameworks, validation strategies, reconciliation techniques, and automated testing.
•Architecture and Performance o Deep understanding of resource optimization patterns used to eliminate processing bottlenecks and develop code utilizing minimal required resources. o Experiencing designing custom mechanisms for tracking pipeline states, pipeline failures, managing incremental loads and logging operational metadata. o Deep knowledge of production process maintenance and support techniques and procedures.
•Modern Data Infrastructure & Orchestration o Advanced experience implementing and managing programmatic workflows orchestration via Cron, Airflow and Kafka, including best practices for managing concurrent task orchestration and complex task dependency. o Familiarity with a range of cloud solutions, including platforms/ecosystems, ETL tooling and high performance data warehousing. o Deep understanding the software development lifecycle, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, along with the ability to perform basic pipeline configuration and maintenance.
•Technical Leadership and Mentorship o Experience defining coding standards and practices as well as leading rigorous code review. o Proven ability to upskill other engineers, mentor teammates through complex tasks and foster a collaborative engineering culture. o Ability to balance high engineering quality with pragmatic business delivery, with a focus on meeting milestones without accumulating technical debt.

- Leads in developing, supporting and implementing data solutions for multiple applications in order to meet business objectives and user requirements. Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
- Leads data requirement analysis and the data preparation process development for targeted data solutions.
- Leads in designing and building data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, according the workflow.
- Oversees the development and implementation of data solutions for multiple applications to ensure its scalability, availability and maintainability.
- Consults on data migration and transformation to ensure the accuracy and security of data solutions.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $91,000.00 – $185,900.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
