Job Description
•  Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications primarily using PHP (Laravel Framework) following coding standards and best practices.
•  Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.
•   Experience implementing and maintaining Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
•  Collaborate with frontend developers and contribute to React.js components and integration with backend services when required.
•  Support development and maintenance of Node.js services and APIs as needed.
•  Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
•  Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and manage Linux-based servers and web servers (Apache/Nginx).
•  Write clean, secure, and maintainable code, ensuring applications are free from common security vulnerabilities and follow best practices
•  Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance
•  Maintain and enhance existing applications by identifying opportunities for performance improvements and feature enhancements.
•  Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, APIs, and deployment guides.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
•   3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in PHP 8+, Laravel 11
•   Laravel architecture and application development using Laravel 11+
•   PHP 8+ features, object-oriented programming, and modern PHP development practices
•   Frontend development using React.js 18+, including component-based architecture, state management, hooks, and API integration
•   HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend development practices
•   RESTful API development and seamless integration between Laravel and React.js applications
•   Database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning using MySQL/PostgreSQL
•   Authentication, authorization, queues, caching, background job processing, and application security best practices
•   Git version control
•   Application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
 
Good to Have Skills
•  Working knowledge of Node.js.
•  Experience with Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
•   Hands-on experience with GCP, Linux server administration, and web servers (Apache/Nginx).
•   Experience integrating with Microsoft Entra ID or other identity providers.
•   Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes.
•   Strong understanding of SOLID Principles and Design Patterns.
•   Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as PHPUnit and frontend testing tools.
•   Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
