About the Role Engineered Corrosion Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of customer projects from proposal development through completion. This role is ideal for project managers with experience in construction, engineering consulting, industrial services, building systems, fire protection, mechanical contracting, or related technical industries. You will work directly with clients, contractors, field engineers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate resources, manage schedules, navigate project challenges, and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They enjoy building strong relationships, working with technical teams, and driving projects to successful outcomes. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to influence project success, work closely with customers and senior leadership, and play a key role in the continued growth of our Engineering Services team. What You'll Do Proposal Development and Project Scoping Manage project opportunities from initial inquiry through proposal delivery Gather project requirements, review available documentation, and develop project scopes Coordinate with contractors, engineers, facility owners, and other project stakeholders during the proposal process Review construction drawings, sprinkler system documentation, inspection reports, and related project information Conduct proposal reviews with clients and answer questions regarding project scope, schedule, and deliverables Follow up on opportunities and support efforts to secure project awards Project Planning and Execution Lead project kickoff meetings and establish expectations for project scope, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables Coordinate project schedules and activities across multiple stakeholders Manage project logistics including site access, scheduling, background checks, and field support requirements Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, or schedule conflicts Help drive projects to successful completion while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction Support the planning and execution of large customer programs and multi-site initiatives Resource Planning and Project Coordination Coordinate consulting and field engineering resources across multiple concurrent projects Balance workload, project priorities, and team capacity to meet client commitments Maintain project schedules, documentation, and status updates within project management and ERP systems Track project milestones, deliverables, and overall project health Prepare project status updates and leadership reports Support process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and project execution Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary project contact for clients throughout the engagement Provide regular communication regarding project progress, schedules, and deliverables Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders Resolve project concerns quickly and professionally Deliver a customer experience that reflects ECS's commitment to technical excellence and service Contract and Business Administration Support contract review and project administration activities Coordinate with internal teams regarding project documentation, invoicing, and administrative requirements Assist with vendor agreement reviews and project-related contractual matters Ensure project records are accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle QualificationsWhat We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field Five or more years of project management experience within construction, engineering consulting, industrial services, building services, or related industries Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a client-focused environment Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency with project management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft 365 applications Preferred Qualifications Experience with fire protection, fire sprinkler systems, or related building systems Experience working in engineering consulting or technical services organizations Familiarity with construction contracts and vendor agreements PMP certification or other project management credentials Experience with process improvement, standard work development, or lean principles Ability to present project updates and recommendations to senior leadership and clients Why Join ECS?
