This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Graphic Designer, Data Visualization based in United States.
This role is focused on transforming complex instructional concepts and data into clear, engaging, and memorable visual experiences. You will create graphics, infographics, diagrams, storyboards, and course assets that help learners understand information at a glance. The position combines strong graphic design fundamentals with data visualization, visual storytelling, and thoughtful communication. You will work closely with instructional designers to translate learning objectives into visuals that are meaningful rather than purely decorative. AI tools will be an active part of your creative workflow, helping you explore ideas, accelerate production, and experiment with new approaches. You will join a diverse, globally distributed team where curiosity, continuous learning, and creative collaboration are encouraged. Accountabilities:
- Translate instructional and educational content into compelling visual concepts, storyboards, and design directions that communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Create static graphics, infographics, diagrams, and course assets that can effectively convey meaning and support learning objectives independently.
- Apply strong principles of composition, typography, color, hierarchy, and visual communication across a range of educational materials.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to identify the most effective visual approach for each learning objective and concept.
- Develop data visualizations that turn numbers, information, and complex topics into accessible and engaging visual narratives.
- Use visual storytelling to identify the key message within complex information and communicate it in a way that is easy for learners to understand.
- Integrate AI tools into the design process to generate ideas, explore creative possibilities, accelerate production, and experiment with new workflows.
- Manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining quality, consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the creative process.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to use these tools confidently in a professional design workflow.
- Strong foundation in graphic design principles, including composition, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout.
- Demonstrated experience creating data visualizations such as charts, infographics, and diagrams that communicate information clearly and purposefully.
- Strong visual storytelling instincts, with the ability to identify narratives and insights within data and translate them into compelling visual concepts.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-powered creative tools, including a willingness to experiment with emerging technologies and incorporate AI into the design process.
- Ability to translate dense or complex concepts into visuals that are immediately understandable and engaging.
- Strong attention to detail, visual consistency, and quality standards.
- Excellent self-organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with instructional designers and other creative professionals in a global, distributed environment.
- Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, with an interest in developing new design techniques, tools, and creative approaches.
