As a key member of our team of analysts, you will play a critical role in collaboration with teams across our Revenue Operations department, for developing analysis and managing projects to resolve revenue issues quickly, improve yield, and support our insurance and internal partners. This includes but is not limited to developing strategic recommendations across the team and department in key focus areas, such as revenue strategy, process improvements, and operations innovations.  You will work directly with internal partners to resolve and manage high impact revenue issues. The majority of the role will be focused in identifying opportunities with reimbursement, root causing and sizing these opportunities, and working with various internal and external partners to arrive at a solution to completion.  The role has a high level of visibility with leadership given as our team supports this highest impact issues, and the requirement to work cross-functionally, and overall ability to impact the bottom line. The right candidate will be expected to: 1) perform data analyses and identify trends 2) effectively create and communicate key messages from analysis and propose and drive efficiencies 3) drive and lead projects start to finish. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Data and reporting analysis, management, and presentation using appropriate tools such as Excel, data warehouses, and servers like SQL and Tableau 
  • Compile and transform data across multiple databases to then complete root cause analysis, quality assurance, trending, and building complex analytical models & determining variable assumptions 
  • Summarize and package analytical insights into appropriate platforms and forums to share with stakeholders, partners and leaders 
  • Develop, pitch, and initiate action plans or process improvements 
  • Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement and generate recurring reports that provide business and systems insight 
  • Partner, communicate, and lead working sessions with executive stakeholders to deliver accurate data, findings, and recommendations; maintain relationships and provide high level updates on initiatives 
  • Oversee smaller initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet stakeholders’ requirements. This includes developing project plans, managing timelines, and tracking progress against established goals. 
  • Create visual and graphical material to present to leaders and partner teams to provide updates and findings throughout deep dives and process innovations 
  • Understands how metrics & processes across multiple business are interrelated and implications of overall work on broader business objectives 
  • Innovation and automation ventures 
  • Provides direction and team work to help with others’ work; viewed as a mentor and expert across the team  
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation tasks 
  • Understand and adhere to all HIPAA Guidelines, DaVita Teammate Handbook, and Safety and Security Policy and Procedures.

Qualifications:  

  • Required:  
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree  
  • 2-3+ years of data analysis and Excel pivot table experience; Ability to analyze complex data to be proactive in business decisions 
  • Expert in computer proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and Teams 
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment 
  • Excellent presentations skills and experience in project management 
  • Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position  
  • Preferred:  
  • Demonstrated strengths in organization, attention-to-detail, follow-through, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience working in and coding in SQL and/or Python, VBA, Power BI, Microsoft Access, Excel Macros, and Tableau, Netezza, Google Cloud  
  • Relative coding and Excel certifications

Work Environment:  

Level II – Low to Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic).  No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor.  The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids or other hazardous conditions. 

 

Visual Demand:

The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00 per year.

  

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour
