Role Overview

We develop, automate and support continuously running tests for our real-time systems. We’re looking for hard-core Python programmers who enjoy developing testing tools and automated tests. If you’ve built testing frameworks from scratch, we want to talk to you! Our team combines the best practices of DevOps and QA to enable frequent and fast delivery of high-quality software. We care deeply about system reliability, testability, recoverability, and fault tolerance.

In addition, as a senior member of the Cboe QA team, you’ll bring your industry experience in QA/testing to help us modernize our QA automation. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who has direct industry experience with modern AI tools and techniques and can help us develop and enhance our QA processes within an AI-centric software development lifecycle. You steer. Let agents execute.

Our QA engineers have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, programming, and software engineering. We are analytical thinkers. We are always developing and improving our craft. If it’s broken, we fix it. If it needs refactoring, we refactor it. If it’s hard to test, we make it testable. We love automation. We ship code weekly.  We’re looking for like-minded individuals to join us.
