As “Financial Reporting Technical Support & Fund Servicing Professional / Lead” within our “Fund Services Operations Team”, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for financial reporting systems and vendor tools to ensure accurate, efficient report generation.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Resolve technical issues by collaborating with finance, accounting, and operations teams.
- Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to improve financial reporting processes.
- Maintain documentation for financial reporting procedures and technical specifications.
- Implement new financial reporting systems and support upgrades to existing platforms.
- Train team members on financial reporting tools, processes, and best practices.
- Monitor compliance with internal control policies and procedures impacting financial reporting.
- Support audits by assisting with readiness activities and partnering with external auditors as needed.
- Execute routine fund servicing transactions in line with established guidelines and procedures.
- Strengthen cybersecurity practices by detecting potential threats and helping safeguard information and systems.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting or technical support roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
- Working knowledge of financial reporting software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Confluence-Unity, DFIN-Arc).
- Basic knowledge of coding.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting technical reporting issues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in fund servicing operations, including routine transactions and process improvements.
- Proven ability to apply active listening and questioning techniques to understand and address client needs effectively.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
