RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides technical assistance and guidance to the operations team. Provides timely project updates to internal customers regarding schedule and budget. Frequently communicates with and keeps abreast of activities by other department engineering teams.
  • Clearly communicates expectations to personnel. Monitors and evaluates individual performance compared to expectations. Determines the areas of strength and weakness of personnel and guides career development; Appraises personnel of their performance status in a timely manner.
  • Ensures collaboration with various work teams and maintains relationships with key support groups and stakeholders.
  • Directs and supports technical requests from other departments as necessary and strategically distributes workload across regions as needed.
  • Identifies and prioritizes key support opportunities with operations management while driving ownership and accountability as needed.
  • Provides scope development input and support for the capital projects group through team participation in design reviews, PHA’s and HAZOPs and ensures the implementation of such findings.
  • Ensures PSM practices are followed through MOC’s and necessary documentation. Participates in incident investigations and ensuring such findings are shared appropriately.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
  • Ten (10) years engineering experience required.
  • Five (5) years industry experience is required.
  • Knowledge/experience in processing operations, project management and design of gathering and compression systems required.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
