Embedded Software Engineer (m/w/d) fixed-termin, 2 years

What you can expect

• Development of innovative embedded software for professional, fully automatic coffee machines
• Co-design of a modular, future-proof software platform for upcoming machine generations
• Development of technical concepts and feasibility analyses in close collaboration with the development team
• Implementation of technical requirements in hardware and software
• Ensuring high software quality through code reviews, unit tests, and structured documentation
• Ongoing maintenance of the software, including systematic error analysis and correction
• Monitoring of technological trends in the embedded domain and development of proposals for the further development of our products
• Working according to established development standards, best practices, and agile methods (e.g. Scrum/Kanban)

What you need to succeed with us

• Completed university degree (information technology, engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field of study)
• Several years of professional experience in embedded software development
• Excellent knowledge of the C++ programming language
• Good knowledge of modern control engineering, electronics and software architecture
• Ideally, experience with Qt, SQL, UML, Rational Rose RT and embedded Linux
• Experience and interest in working in interdisciplinary project teams
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum
• Independence and creativity in finding innovative solutions

• Very good spoken and written English and German skills
