What you can expect
- Development of innovative embedded software for professional, fully automatic coffee machines
- Co-design of a modular, future-proof software platform for upcoming machine generations
- Development of technical concepts and feasibility analyses in close collaboration with the development team
- Implementation of technical requirements in hardware and software
- Ensuring high software quality through code reviews, unit tests, and structured documentation
- Ongoing maintenance of the software, including systematic error analysis and correction
- Monitoring of technological trends in the embedded domain and development of proposals for the further development of our products
- Working according to established development standards, best practices, and agile methods (e.g. Scrum/Kanban)
What you need to succeed with us
- Completed university degree (information technology, engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field of study)
- Several years of professional experience in embedded software development
- Excellent knowledge of the C++ programming language
- Good knowledge of modern control engineering, electronics and software architecture
- Ideally, experience with Qt, SQL, UML, Rational Rose RT and embedded Linux
- Experience and interest in working in interdisciplinary project teams
- Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum
- Independence and creativity in finding innovative solutions
- Very good spoken and written English and German skills
