Manufacturing Engineering Manager

DRS RADA is a global pioneer in radar systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. We are seeking an experienced Production Engineering Manager for serial production products at the Beit Shean factory.

In this role, you will hold overall responsibility for the operational readiness, efficiency, and engineering sustainability of our multidisciplinary manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering organization comprising Electrical & Electronic Engineers and Mechanical Engineers, driving technical execution and operational excellence.
• Serve as an active member of the Engineering Leadership Team (reporting directly to the Senior Director of Engineering) and serve as a core member of the Plant Leadership Team at our Beit She'an manufacturing facility.
• Hold overall engineering accountability for production line stability, capacity scaling, yield optimization (FPY), and cycle time reduction across active manufacturing lines.
• Provide ongoing, multi-disciplinary engineering support to internal production lines and subcontractors, resolving complex shop-floor technical blockers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, yield enhancement, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, NPI, Quality, ATE, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to support strategic plant and business goals.

Requirements

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering).
• At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, or a similar operational role in a high-tech multidisciplinary environment.
• At least 3-5 years of proven managerial experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams or team leaders.
• Proven experience in the Defense & Aerospace industry.
• Experience with complex electronic assemblies, PCBAs, mechanical enclosures, and integrated multidisciplinary systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness for presence and hands-on leadership at our manufacturing facility in Beit She'an – Must.
• Excellent communication, matrix management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
