Job Duties:
- Gather information to assist in identification of intrusion attempts
- Assist with monitoring the security environment using various methods
- Monitor logs and use correlation software
- Learn and review existing security technologies and trends
Required Qualifications:
·Degree program(s) / Current Status: Junior or Senior level undergraduate student, graduate student, or recently graduated with Computer Science and Cybersecurity concentrations
· Cumulative GPA: 3.0 preferred; 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA.
Other Qualifications:
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of information technology, cybersecurity, security systems, or applications preferred.
- Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Must demonstrate the ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment, and team-oriented.
- Undergraduates must be able to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the Spring and Fall semesters and 30 – 40 hours per week during the summer. Recent graduates must be able to work 30 – 40 hours per week year round.
