Job Description
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional with a strong track record in project management within the Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Distribution Centre, or Industrial Real Estate sectors. Responsible for planning, leading, and delivering logistics infrastructure, warehouse development, and operational improvement projects, ensuring successful execution within budget, timeline, operational requirements, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for logistics facilities, warehouses, distribution centres, and supply chain infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, Finance, and external partners.
- Drive warehouse development, fit-out, expansion, automation, and facility enhancement initiatives to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Partner with logistics and operations teams to ensure project deliverables align with business requirements, workflow optimization, and productivity objectives.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and operational standards.
- Identify project risks, operational constraints, and implementation challenges; develop and execute mitigation plans.
- Manage vendor selection, contractor performance, contract administration, and service delivery.
- Support warehouse process improvement, space utilization, storage optimization, and automation initiatives.
- Prepare project status reports, governance updates, and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, capacity, and service levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably within logistics, warehousing, distribution centres, manufacturing, or industrial facility environments.
- Proven experience managing warehouse development, logistics infrastructure, operational improvement, or industrial facility projects.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse workflows, facility design, and supply chain processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and contractors in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Experience in warehouse automation, material handling systems, WMS implementation, or logistics transformation projects will be an advantage.
