About the Role
We are seeking a Data & Systems Support Analyst to manage, maintain and support the systems, software, processes and analytics that underpin critical business operations in our Engineering and Technical Support team (ETS). This role will play a key part in ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, process optimisation and continuous improvement across a complex operational environment. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support business system enhancements, reporting capabilities and data-driven decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Extracting, analysing and maintaining data to support reporting and business performance outcomes.
- Managing and supporting business systems, software applications and reporting platforms, ensuring data quality and system reliability.
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and automated workflows that improve visibility and decision-making capabilities.
- Investigating system issues, troubleshooting defects and coordinating resolution with IT teams and vendors.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives through process mapping, system optimisation and business change activities.
- Providing training, guidance and support to stakeholders on systems, reporting and data management practices.
- Assisting with audits, compliance activities and data quality assurance processes.
- Supporting the delivery of business system enhancement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You will bring a degree qualification in Digital Systems, Business, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, together with proven experience supporting complex business systems, data reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics, reporting and business systems support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Experience supporting and maintaining reporting platforms, dashboards and automated workflows.
- Proven ability to work with large and complex datasets to identify trends, resolve issues and improve data quality.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into business insights.
- Experience working with systems such as Power BI, SharePoint, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Visio or similar enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting project delivery, change initiatives and business process improvement programs.
