Parra Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Analyst to support DOI IBC-AQD Mission Support Services. This position independently performs financial analysis, invoice review, and reporting in direct support of acquisition and contract administration activities.
This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Perform cost and price analysis in support of preaward acquisition actions.
- Independently review and validate contractor invoices, resolving discrepancies with acquisition and program staff.
- Track and report budget execution status against obligations and expenditures.
- Prepare financial summaries and briefing materials for Government stakeholders.
- Support contract modification and closeout actions from a financial-analysis perspective.
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial tracking tools and dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field plus 3-5 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination.
- S. citizenship required to support this federal contract.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience with federal budget execution, cost/price analysis, or invoice review.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel; experience building financial tracking tools.
- Experience preparing financial reporting for Government or executive audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federal financial management systems and reporting tools.
- Experience directly supporting a DOI or other civilian agency finance office.
- Experience supporting acquisition teams with cost/price analysis during source selection.
