Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As an integral part of the Family Office Service (FOS) team, the Financial Planning Analyst provides comprehensive financial planning solutions. This involves acting as the primary financial planner in our centralized service as well as in a partnership role with the Financial Planning Specialists. Both services require the preparation and ongoing development of our “Compass” comprehensive financial plans.

This is a Retirement & Wealth Planning role where the focus is on providing tax, retirement, and estate planning strategies using our proprietary personal financial planning set of tools.

What will you do?

  • Prepare comprehensive personal financial plans for high net-worth clients
  • Recommend advice and opportunities to enhance client’s financial situation
  • Maintain a high level of collaboration and knowledge with partners
  • Stay current with financial planning standards and practices
  • Contribute ideas and participate in development projects to enhance our services
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to other professionals in Family Office Services

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • Undergraduate diploma in a related field, preferably Finance or Wealth Management
  • CFP or Financial planning designation
  • 5 years of experience in financial planning, preferably in Wealth Management
  • Advanced knowledge of financial planning and Canadian Income Tax (personal and corporate)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of Conquest financial planning application
  • Accounting designation
  • Natural curiosity towards learning and broadening the personal knowledge base
  • Bilingualism (English and French) both oral and written

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
