Role Overview

A Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist at Saronic is responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling quality documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining document integrity, audit readiness, and quality control across the organization. They will employ technical expertise and analytical skill in supporting Saronic’s reputation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain and control quality management system (QMS) documentation

· Conduct tests, inspections, and audits to identify defects or process inefficiencies.

· Analyze results of inspections and tests and propose corrective actions to improve production processes and product quality.

· Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001)

· Administer document control systems (e.g., SharePoint, etc)

· Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals of procedures, work instructions, and policies

· Track and manage document revisions

· Monitor document retention schedules and ensure proper archiva

· Create training materials and operating manuals to support quality initiatives.

· Work both independently and in groups to achieve quality goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Education: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in a relevant field is preferred.

· Certifications: QA certifications are a plus, especially IPC, ASQ, and ISO.

· Experience: Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency with document management systems,  Strong understanding of document control principles, Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint)

· Analytical Skills: Strong data collection, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

· Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication for reporting and collaboration.

· Work Environment: Ability to work in a manufacturing and office environment; meet minimal physical work requirements.

Physical Demands

  • Occasional standing and walking within the office
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)
