As a Data Analyst - Intern/Trainee, you will assist clients in developing tax reporting strategies and maintaining compliance with tax regulations. You will analyze financial data, interpret tax laws, and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements, aiming to optimize tax positions and minimize risks for businesses. As an Intern, you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing reliably to the team's success.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting different challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in tax planning and compliance efforts to optimize client tax positions - Participating in the development of tax reporting strategies and maintaining compliance with regulations - Analyzing financial data to interpret tax laws and provide guidance on reporting requirements - Preparing tax documents and assisting in tax audits to minimize risks for businesses - Conducting tax research and documentation to support client tax consulting needs - Collaborating with team members to enhance corporate tax planning and governance - Applying intellectual curiosity to gather information and discern patterns in tax-related data - Learning and applying professional and technical standards to uphold the Firm's code of conduct - Actively listening and asking questions to check understanding and clearly express ideas - Taking initiative to produce quality work that adds value for clients and contributes to team success
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree - At least a 3.0 overall GPA - Oral and written proficiency in English required
