What You'll Do:

CCF's Loan and Lease assets currently total approximately $1.4 billion. The Financial Operations team plays a critical role in managing the servicing, accounting, and operational integrity of our commercial loan and lease portfolio while supporting the continued growth of the business.

As a Financial Operations Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving processes, leveraging technology, and helping shape the future of financial operations. Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily servicing of commercial loan and lease portfolios, including payment processing, cash application, account reconciliations, and exception resolution.
  • Generate, review, and process daily Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) files and other payment transactions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing, collections support, billing adjustments, and payment research.
  • Prepare customer payoff quotes, process early payoffs, and ensure accurate accounting for loan and lease terminations.
  • Review and process end-of-term activities, including lease returns, renewals, purchases, and contract dispositions.
  • Book new loan and lease transactions into the servicing system, ensuring accurate pricing, depreciation, residual values, accounting treatment, and contract setup.
  • Prepare account analyses, reconciliations, and operational reporting to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
  • Assist with financial reporting, portfolio analytics, and management reporting for executive leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Serve as a backup administrator for the core lease and loan servicing platform, assisting with system testing, upgrades, issue resolution, and user support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, automate manual tasks, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and servicing procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries related to billing, account balances, amortization schedules, payoff requests, and transaction history.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, automate routine tasks, enhance reporting, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Participate in system enhancements, testing, and technology initiatives that strengthen scalability, automation, and data integrity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by embracing new technologies, sharing knowledge, and contributing ideas that help the organization evolve.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in financial operations, equipment finance, commercial lending, leasing, banking, or a related financial services environment.
  • Experience with accounts receivable, cash management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity with a desire to continuously learn, improve processes, and embrace new technologies.
  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ), including excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration, adaptability, and customer empathy.
  • Ability to think critically, challenge existing processes constructively, and develop creative, practical solutions.
  • Self-motivated with an ownership mindset and the confidence to make recommendations that improve operational performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with customers.

Technology Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with loan or lease servicing platforms; Aspire experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience using or willingness to learn AI-powered productivity tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or similar technologies) to improve efficiency, reporting, research, and workflow automation.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new software applications and adapting to evolving technology platforms.
