DevOps Engineer

Kiratech is seeking skilled DevOps, with the capabilities to work in a team, within an agile framework.

Our DevOps plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of our applications and infrastructure. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us improve our automation, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements: • 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for DevOps automation.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of Linux system administration.
• Experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, or LTGM stack.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Your day-to-day tasks will mainly include, but not limited to:• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and processes required for the successful deployment and operation of our applications through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Work closely with development teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Deploy, scale, and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across applications and infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for our applications and infrastructure.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and rollback procedures for our applications and infrastructure.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and upgrades to improve our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, deployment runbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Salary RangeRM6,000 - RM10,000 gross per month
