Purpose of the role

This role is responsible for the end-to-end rollout of equipment into stores across seven African markets, managed fully remotely. The successful candidate will own the process from supply chain through to on-site installation and tracking, self-coordinating directly with stores in each market to ensure equipment is delivered, installed and operational with minimal disruption, without the need for on-site travel.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the full equipment rollout lifecycle across all seven markets, from procurement and supply chain through to store-level installation
  • Track equipment status end to end, including dispatch, delivery, installation and any returns or replacements
  • Coordinate remotely with store teams in each market to schedule installations and resolve on-the-ground issues without needing to be physically present
  • Manage supply chain dependencies across markets and flag risks to delivery timelines early
  • Work with IT and technical teams where equipment requires system integration or connectivity setup
  • Maintain a clear tracker of rollout progress across all seven markets and report status regularly
  • Identify and resolve blockers across markets, adapting to local conditions, time zones and language differences
  • Build strong working relationships with vendors, logistics partners, store operations and IT stakeholders, all managed remotely

What we're looking for

  • Solid project management experience, ideally with hands-on rollout, logistics or supply chain exposure
  • Proven ability to coordinate effectively across multiple countries and time zones without on-site presence
  • Practical, self-starting style, able to self-coordinate directly with store-level teams remotely rather than working purely top-down
  • Some familiarity with IT or technical integration is an advantage, though deep technical expertise is not required
  • Strong organisational skills and comfort managing many moving parts at once across seven markets in a short timeframe
  • Clear communicator, able to report simply and directly, given the fully remote nature of the role

Success in this role looks like

  • Equipment is delivered, installed and tracked accurately across all target stores in all seven markets
  • Store teams experience minimal disruption during installation, despite remote coordination
  • Issues are flagged and resolved early, before they affect the three-month timeline
  • Clear visibility of rollout status is maintained throughout the contract
