QA Registered Nurse
Location: Remote (must be located in Colorado)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $44-$48 hourly + full benefit package
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Nurse to support clinical operations within our home health organization. This role will lead Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing home health services in Colorado
- Monitor and audit nursing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to care plans
- Mentors clinical teams and provide education on new protocols and documentation rules
- Review Plan of Cares and compile documentation for authorizations in collaboration with the billing team
- Identify gaps in care or documentation and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records and reporting related to compliance and QA activities
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado (in good standing)
- OASIS experience is a must
- Strong knowledge of home health regulations, compliance standards, and documentation requirements
- Strong understanding of the authorization process
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with KanTime a plus!
