At Hitachi Energy, we are accelerating the digital transformation of our Supply Chain and Procurement organization. We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to support SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass solutions and to join our global team and help drive business process excellence, innovation, and automation across sourcing, procurement, supplier management, external workforce management, and services procurement processes.

As an IT Business Analyst, you will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams. You will be responsible for analyzing business needs, designing solutions, managing requirements, supporting global projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass platforms.

How you will make an impact

  • Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Lead workshops, process design sessions, and requirement gathering activities. Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, business process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support business case development and solution recommendations.
  • Lead analysis activities for global enhancement and implementation projects.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, AMS teams, and external implementation partners. Coordinate design reviews and challenge proposed solutions where required.
  • Support integrations between SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Network, Microsoft platforms, and third-party systems.
  • Define business requirements for interfaces, workflows, approvals, and reporting solutions. Support deployment, go-live, and hyper care activities.
  • Ensure solutions comply with governance, audit, security, and compliance requirements. Maintain high-quality application and process documentation.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar, preferable experience with SAP Ariba and/or SAP Fieldglass
  • Understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or external workforce management processes.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements in an enterprise environment is a must
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
