What You'll Build
As a Senior Java Developer at Nectar, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust applications that power our core product platform. You will work on building high-quality backend services and features using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, AI engineers, and other cross-functional teams to develop reliable and efficient solutions. You will also work with Docker and containerized environments to support scalable application development and deployment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of Java Development, Cloud Technologies, Workflow Management, and Enterprise Software, while contributing to a fast-paced and growing product environment.
Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable Java applications.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
● Work on the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
● Implement and maintain data models using Hibernate.
● Utilize Spring Framework for building enterprise-level applications.
● Develop and deploy applications using Docker containers.
● Design and implement workflow management systems to streamline business processes.
● Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the quality of deliverables.
● Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
● Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java development.
● Proven experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
● Strong knowledge of containerization using Docker.
● Experience in designing and implementing workflow management systems.
● Solid understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
● Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
Additional Skills (Preferred):
● Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
● Familiarity with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
● Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
● Experience with BPMN and related tools
