Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain SolidWorks models, assemblies, drawings, and production documentation
- Convert customer ideas, sketches, and shop feedback into manufacturable designs
- Develop multiple design concepts and evaluate cost, strength, manufacturability, weight, and appearance
- Support production by resolving recurring manufacturing issues and reducing rework
- Design custom and semi-custom products with repeat production potential
- Work directly with vendors and fabricators on sourcing and product improvements
- Maintain SolidWorks libraries, bills of material, cut lists, and production documentation
- Support designs throughout production rather than simply releasing drawings

Requirements
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, CAD Design, or Related Field (Equivalent Experience Considered) REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 Years of 3D CAD Design Experience REQUIRED
- Strong SolidWorks Experience (Other 3D CAD Experience Considered) REQUIRED
- Experience Designing Fabricated Steel Products REQUIRED
- Understanding of Welding, Sheet Metal, Tubing, Brackets, Fasteners, Axles, Suspensions, and Manufacturing Methods REQUIRED
- Ability to Create Models, Assemblies, Drawings, Bills of Material, and Production Documentation REQUIRED
- Strong Mechanical Problem-Solving Skills REQUIRED
- Comfortable Working Directly with Customers REQUIRED
