This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Windscribe - Senior UX Designer based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity for a senior UX professional to shape intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences for a global user base. You will contribute to the end-to-end design process, from understanding user needs and defining problems to developing and refining effective solutions. The role calls for a strong balance of user empathy, product thinking, visual judgment, and practical problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to turn complex requirements into simple experiences. As a senior contributor, you will have the opportunity to influence design direction, establish strong UX practices, and raise the quality of the overall product experience. Accountabilities

  • Lead UX design initiatives from problem discovery and user understanding through ideation, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
  • Translate complex user needs and product requirements into intuitive, accessible, and effective user experiences.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and other design artefacts that clearly communicate proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Conduct or contribute to user research, usability testing, and qualitative and quantitative analysis to validate design decisions.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities for improvement across existing user journeys and product experiences.
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles and help ensure that usability, accessibility, and consistency remain central to product decisions.
  • Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns, standards, and documentation where appropriate.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations clearly, incorporating feedback while maintaining strong UX rationale.
  • Help establish and improve UX processes, methodologies, and best practices across the product organisation.
  • Provide senior-level design guidance and contribute to a high-quality, collaborative design culture.

Requirements

  • Significant professional experience in UX or product design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong end-to-end design work.
  • Proven ability to solve complex product and user-experience problems through research, interaction design, prototyping, and iteration.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, interaction design, usability, and accessibility.
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in an agile or similarly collaborative product-development environment.
  • Strong ability to turn ambiguous requirements into clear, practical, and user-focused design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and product priorities when making design decisions.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of projects, and influencing product direction through design expertise.
  • A collaborative, curious, and pragmatic mindset, with a willingness to seek feedback and continuously improve.
