Engineering / Design Manager

What you’ll do

As an Engineering / Design Manager in our Industrial Mechanical team based in Perth, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and design activities from concept through to delivery

Manage engineering interfaces, priorities, and deliverables to achieve safe, timely, and high-quality outcomes

Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, clients, contractors, and delivery partners

Drive safety in design, technical assurance, engineering governance, and design review processes

Resolve design issues and manage technical risks, engineering changes, and project constraints

Build trusted client relationships and maintain clear, effective project communication

What you’ll bring

Relevant engineering qualifications, ideally Mechanical Engineering, although broader backgrounds will be considered

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design on complex projects

A project delivery focus with the ability to manage interfaces, priorities, risks, and technical outcomes

Knowledge of safety in design, technical assurance, and engineering governance

Strong client engagement, stakeholder management, and communication skills

A collaborative, practical approach to problem-solving and delivering impactful outcomes
