Engineering / Design Manager

What you’ll do
As an Engineering / Design Manager in our Industrial Mechanical team based in Perth, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and design activities from concept through to delivery
- Manage engineering interfaces, priorities, and deliverables to achieve safe, timely, and high-quality outcomes
- Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, clients, contractors, and delivery partners
- Drive safety in design, technical assurance, engineering governance, and design review processes
- Resolve design issues and manage technical risks, engineering changes, and project constraints
- Build trusted client relationships and maintain clear, effective project communication
What you’ll bring
- Relevant engineering qualifications, ideally Mechanical Engineering, although broader backgrounds will be considered
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design on complex projects
- A project delivery focus with the ability to manage interfaces, priorities, risks, and technical outcomes
- Knowledge of safety in design, technical assurance, and engineering governance
- Strong client engagement, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- A collaborative, practical approach to problem-solving and delivering impactful outcomes
