We are now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Plant Engineering team within Plant Solution Delivery, Mineral Business Area.

In this key role, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the delivery of complex minerals processing plant projects around the world. You will be responsible for guiding engineering execution from project initiation through delivery, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As Engineering Manager, you will work closely with customers, project managers, partners, and suppliers while leading a team of Chief Engineers and Design Leads across multiple engineering disciplines. Your leadership and technical expertise will play a critical role in the successful execution of our projects and the continued development of Metso's industry-leading plant solutions

What You'll Do

  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams (including Process, Plant, Mechanical, Piping, EIA and Civil & Structural Engineering) in global plant solution projects
  • Take overall responsibility for engineering scope delivery, including cost, schedule, quality, and risk management.
  • Act as Deputy Project Manager when required.
  • Ensure project execution follows Metso's engineering and project delivery processes.
  • Support sales and proposal activities by defining engineering scopes, budgets, and execution strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of minerals processing plant solutions.
  • Serve as the primary engineering interface toward customers and key project stakeholders.
  • Drive collaboration across global teams and partner organizations to achieve project objectives.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in large-scale engineering, EPCM, or industrial plant projects. Longer experience is seen as an advantage.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating complex project execution.
  • Strong business understanding combined with solid technical and analytical capabilities. Ability to prioritize activities, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver results in a dynamic project environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent collaboration skills. Proactive, solution-oriented, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and support global project assignments when required.
