Accountabilities: As the Group Product Manager, Finance Technology, you will own the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for a portfolio of finance SaaS platforms. You will lead product teams, manage strategic partnerships, and drive technology initiatives that improve business performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Own the end-to-end product vision and multi-quarter roadmap across finance technology domains, including procure-to-pay, record-to-report, quote-to-cash, payroll, equity, treasury, and enterprise planning systems.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities for AI-enabled workflows, automation, improved reconciliation processes, anomaly detection, and enhanced operational efficiency.
- Translate finance business priorities into clear product strategies, prioritization frameworks, and measurable outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
- Define and manage the product operating model, including intake processes, roadmap planning, release management, change management, and adoption measurement.
- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to determine what solutions should be built, purchased, integrated, or optimized.
- Lead vendor strategy and management, including platform evaluations, renewals, service-level agreements, roadmap influence, and technology spend optimization.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance technology product managers, providing strategic direction, coaching, and support to help them deliver impactful solutions.
- Maintain direct ownership of selected finance applications, managing enhancements, releases, stakeholder relationships, and product decisions.
- Collaborate with senior finance leaders, technical teams, and business partners to align technology investments with long-term operational goals.
- Drive adoption of data-driven and AI-powered capabilities that enable finance teams to automate processes, improve insights, and operate more effectively.
- Support enterprise initiatives such as acquisitions, system integrations, process improvements, and technology modernization efforts.
- Establish clear communication channels around priorities, progress, dependencies, and business impact across finance and technology teams.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a strong background in finance technology, enterprise systems, and transformation initiatives. You bring the ability to operate strategically with executives while remaining close to technical and operational details.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, finance systems, business applications, or finance transformation roles.
- 2+ years of direct people management experience, with a proven ability to mentor and develop product management or systems-focused teams.
- Demonstrated ownership of finance SaaS platforms across areas such as ERP, EPM/CPM, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, treasury, payroll, or related enterprise applications.
- Experience building and managing product operating models, including roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, release processes, and change management strategies.
- Strong vendor management experience, including platform selection, contract negotiations, renewals, SLAs, and vendor roadmap influence.
- Ability to translate complex finance processes and business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, audit readiness, SOX considerations, and data quality practices.
- Experience driving finance transformation initiatives, including automation, process optimization, reporting improvements, and system adoption.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present strategy to executives and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on product ownership and detailed platform decision-making.
- Proven success delivering business outcomes in complex, high-growth environments.
- Experience with AI-enabled business transformation initiatives or intelligent automation solutions is highly valued.
- Preferred experience includes public technology companies, M&A technology integrations, advertising platforms, shared-services environments, or enterprise finance ecosystems.
