O&M Senior Project Manager - Marine (12 month FTC)

Can be based in London, Glasgow or Lowestoft 

Salary from £59,200 with annual bonus up to 15% and health cover

As the subject matter expert for marine operations in Offshore O&M, you will be responsible for marine assurance processes and the selection and vetting of vessels.    

 

 

What you’ll be doing 

Developing, implementing and updating marine assurance processes and procedures for vessel acceptance at operational sites, ensuring they remain fit for purpose, you will develop, implement and update minimum requirements for vessels based on lessons learned, legislative updates, industry best practices and site-specific needs. 

 

Participating in tender processes for marine services and O&M marine logistics tenders from a technical perspective, including but not limited to identification of potential suppliers, preparation of Scope of Works and contribution to the technical evaluation, you will manage, monitor and evaluate these frameworks to ensure contractors deliver as per our requirements whilst optimising marine operations and reducing operational costs. 

 

Defining and assessing relevant KPIs associated to the marine logistics fleet as well as supporting the development and implementation of O&M logistics strategies for new operational windfarms based on windfarm requirements and industry best practices, you will analyse and recommend new sustainable vessel and decarbonisation strategies for logistics. You will also assist HSE and Environmental teams with marine-related incidents at O&M sites. 

 

 

What you’ll bring 

  • Marine Engineering, Master Mariner, Naval Architecture or equivalent Master’s degree 
  • IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software 
  • Flexible to travel overseas 
  • Fluency in English 
  • Previous Marine Management experience 
  • Experience of offshore sector
