About The Role:
The Darta Scientist will support the delivery of a range of contracted consulting and analytical engagements, such as revenue optimization, authorization consulting, portfolio health-checks, real time data streaming, risk management capabilities, etc. for our processing clients, merchant, and government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and partnerships for key product capabilities using authorization, transactional, repayments and account demographic data, such as the next best action recommendation tool for processing clients.
- Leverage data lake to develop AI/ML based products that could add value to processing clients and generate revenue for NI as processor.
- Deliver top-class analytics consulting solutions to clients in line with the agreed deliverables/SOW’s. Manage deliveries across cost, quality, and time spectrums.
- Convert the analytical outputs into delivery reports or collateral with world-class storyboarding.
- Additionally, support the wider team Advisory and Information Services team as required with product development, pre-sales and sales support relating to analytical solutions, including client presentations, solution design, proposal development including costings and Letters of Engagement.
- Develop advanced predictive models across a range of outcomes (risk/Marketing etc.) using various techniques, to include, but not limited to Logistic/Linear regression, Decision Trees and Machine Learning techniques.
Key Requirements:
- Master's degree in any quantitative discipline or MBA. Candidates from Statistics or Operations Research background will be preferred.
- Previous work experience of 1-4 years in Analytics team (preferably in Payments/ retail banking industry), with strong business acumen and ability to translate data insights into meaningful business recommendations.
- Strong drive and passion to work in a start-up kind of environment and deliver business impact in Payments through advance analytics.
- Expertise in analytical tools such as SAS/R/SQL/ and Qlik/Tableau/Power-BI.
- Working knowledge in analytical techniques such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Cluster analysis, Market Basket analysis, etc. (good to have for the role).
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
- Proven experience in delivering analytical solutions within mid to large-size project teams, and working in on-shore & off-shore environment.
