ABOUT PEARLY

Pearly is a high-growth B2B SaaS and payments company at a critical inflection point. With deep product-market fit and over 2,500 dental offices across DSOs, groups, and private practices on the platform, we're now looking for builders to help shepherd the next stage of growth.

Because we're lean, you won't be inheriting legacy process or systems debt. You'll be building from a clean slate: leveraging process, technology, and AI in smart, creative ways to accelerate growth and productivity across dental billing, payments, and engagement.

We are a team of high-talent, high-integrity people who genuinely enjoy the art of building and competing; honing our craft and getting better each day, both as individuals and as a team. We care deeply about good outcomes, but just as much about how we get there with smart, passionate people who hold each other to a high standard, move fast, and take pride in the work. That's what makes Pearly feel different. The caliber of the people and the intentionality behind how we operate.

THE ROLE

We're hiring a Staff Product Manager to own Data & Analytics: the reporting, dashboards, and financial intelligence that turn Pearly's data into something our customers can see, trust, and act on. It's one of the highest-leverage surfaces we have, and customers are already asking for more of it.

The problems are real and concrete. Help RCM leaders drill into what's driving their Days Sales Outstanding, A/R aging, and where to act. Give CFOs the reporting they need to reduce debt reserves with confidence. Build the insights that drive downstream workflows, from collection-agency handoffs to the daily decisions of an office manager. This is financial intelligence that changes how a practice runs, not charts for their own sake.

Staff means we trust you with the mandate and expect you to run. You're senior enough that you don't need product coaching, and seasoned enough to coach others. You'll operate independently on ambiguous, high-stakes problems, set direction the rest of the team builds against, and raise the bar for product craft by example. We need someone as comfortable defining a multi-quarter roadmap in a leadership conversation as getting into the schema, the query, and the dashboard spec the same afternoon.

Data & Analytics is your home, but your influence won't stop there. With a lean product leadership bench, you'll help shape Pearly's overall product strategy and roadmap, and co-ideate and own features that cut across platform domains, including Payments and Integrations. Depth in data is the mandate; operating at the altitude of the whole product is the level. If you want a tightly-scoped, stay-in-your-lane role, this isn't it.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Customer-Facing Insights. Own the dashboards, reporting, and insights that help RCM leaders, finance leaders, operations leaders, and office managers make better decisions and run better workflows. Start by understanding the surface we have today, what customers rely on, and where it falls short, then turn raw payment, billing, and practice data into decision-grade views that serve a single-practice office manager and an enterprise DSO RCM team alike.

Internal Insights & Activation. Deliver the insights, patterns, and recommendations that let Pearly's own product, sales, and CS teams add value to customers, whether self-serve or sales- and CS-led. Monitor blocked versus prompted versus processed volume to flag anomalies, surface shifts in A/R collection volume, and find where a well-timed lever changes an outcome. A/B test outreach sequences to learn how to lift A/R collection rates by geography, demographic, and beyond.

Telling the Value Story. Amplify and extend the value of Pearly's products across the customer journey: the operational savings, the cash-flow impact, the collections boost, from first touch through customer advocacy. Make the impact Pearly delivers legible, to customers and to us.

Data & Integrations Architecture. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering on the data model and drive PMS integrations underneath all of it. Bring real technical judgment to how PMS data flows in through our pipelines and APIs, how it's transformed and curated, and how it's structured, stored, and served, and make the calls on what's feasible in real time versus batch.

AI & Intelligence. Own the roadmap for the predictive layer on top of Pearly's data, the models and signals that move us from reporting what happened to anticipating what's next. Translate AI/ML capability into features customers understand and value.

New Data Products. Ideate, discover, and champion new data and analytics features and products. Pearly sits on patient balance and payment-behavior data no one else has, and a core part of this role is determining what that data can become, including whether and how it becomes a product line of its own, with a value proposition, packaging, and a path to revenue. Partner with Product Marketing and Sales on positioning and pricing as that thesis takes shape.

Discovery & Voice of the Customer. Run discovery directly with the people who live in financial data: CFOs, VPs of Revenue Cycle, practice owners, and DSO operators. Turn what they need into a roadmap, and keep what we build grounded in real demand.

Cross-Functional Partnership. Partner closely across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Marketing, not just to ship, but to build the right thing and get it adopted. Pull reporting signals from CS, work with Sales and Product Marketing to package and position what's monetizable, and make sure every release lands with the teams who sell and support it.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

7+ years in product management, including time owning a data, analytics, reporting, or BI product at a staff or equivalent senior-IC level, ideally at a high-growth B2B SaaS company. You run your area with little oversight and make the PMs around you better by example.

Real technical depth. You're fluent in relational databases and SQL, reason comfortably about data models and schema design, and can hold a credible, detailed conversation with engineers about how data is structured and served.

A track record building dashboards and reporting people actually use, with real examples of turning complex data into decisions, plus the AI/ML fluency to scope and prioritize a predictive layer and know where it adds value versus noise.

A rare strategy-plus-execution profile. You can set direction and then define the schema, write the spec, and pressure-test the dashboard yourself.

Product leadership beyond your own area. You've shaped strategy and roadmap past the edges of your immediate mandate and can own features that cut across domains. With a thin leadership bench above you, that breadth matters here.

Strong commercial instincts. You treat data as a product with a value proposition and a price, and ideally you've helped package and monetize one.

Exceptional discovery and communication. You can sit across from a CFO or VP of RCM, earn their trust, and leave knowing what they actually need, and you're just as effective rallying Sales, CS, and Product Marketing around what to build and why. Comfortable segmenting across buyers from single practices to enterprise DSOs.

BONUS POINTS

Experience in dental, healthcare, RCM, or similar.

Background building analytics or reporting for finance, RCM, or operations personas.

Hands-on experience with the modern data stack (warehouses, transformation, BI tooling) and a point of view on build-versus-buy.

A track record taking a data or analytics capability from feature to revenue-generating product line.

WHY JOIN PEARLY

Founding ownership. You'll define the data and analytics product strategy at Pearly. Your work shapes both what customers see and what they'll pay for.

Meaningful market. Dental practices are underserved by modern software, and almost no one is giving them real financial intelligence. You'll help change that.

Real product-market fit. You're not manufacturing demand for something unproven. You're scaling a product customers already love and building the intelligence layer they're asking for.

Direct exec visibility. You'll work closely with executive leadership, with a real seat in strategic conversations.

Competitive compensation. $180,000 - $210,000 salary plus equity and healthcare benefits.

Collaborative team. Small, focused, driven, and genuinely fun to build with.
