Job Description: This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.

The Business Analyst Manager serves as a strategic partner to Region Executives and key Line of Business stakeholders, providing executive-level business insights, performance analysis, reporting oversight, and program leadership. This role is responsible for driving complex initiatives, translating data into actionable recommendations, and ensuring effective execution of business priorities. The position requires strong strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Success in this role depends on building and maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders, influencing across organizational boundaries, and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to support business objectives and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
  • Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
  • Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
  • Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
  • Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives
  • Conduct pricing analysis, statement reviews, cost comparison, pricing proposals
  • National support for Merchant Field Sales, Centralized Sales, and Retention teams, including Onboarding, product support, buyers’ remorse, and technology support

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Merchant experience required
  • Interchange and pricing knowledge required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience interpreting data, identifying business opportunities, developing insights, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, influence decisions, and drive initiatives across multiple business areas.
  • Leadership skills, ability to lead small team, manage team deadlines to SLAs, critical to application process/timeline
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Office, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$117,500.00 - $185,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
