Software Developer III - Angular, AWS, PostgreSQL

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern cloud-native web applications using Angular, AWS, PostgreSQL, and RESTful APIs. This individual will partner closely with the Senior DevOps Engineer to deliver scalable enterprise applications, CI/CD integration, and cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js (or equivalent), AWS, and PostgreSQL.

·       Develop responsive Angular user interfaces and reusable UI components.

·       Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.

·       Design, optimize, and tune PostgreSQL databases.

·       Collaborate with the Senior DevOps Engineer on CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, and cloud-native architecture.

·       Integrate with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.

·       Write clean, testable, maintainable code following engineering best practices.

·       Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

·       Troubleshoot production issues and participate in Agile ceremonies.

·       Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

·       7+ years of professional software development experience.

·       5+ years developing Angular and TypeScript applications.

·       Strong backend development experience using Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, or similar.

·       Strong PostgreSQL database development and optimization experience.

·       Experience with REST APIs, microservices, AWS, Git, GitHub Actions, and Agile development.

·       Strong understanding of secure coding and application architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.

·       Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenSearch.

·       AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification.

·       Experience in utilities or other regulated industries.

Role Partnership

·       This role complements the Senior DevOps Engineer by focusing on application development while leveraging the cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS infrastructure managed by the DevOps Engineer.
