Triangle Cyber is seeking an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional to support a U.S. Government client that provides onsite incident response services. This role will develop solutions that enable rapid investigation, containment, and remediation for cyberattacks affecting civilian Government agencies and critical infrastructure asset owners.
NOTE: This is a hybrid position, and candidates must reside within 60 miles of Arlington, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Design, optimize, and enhance cloud-based architectures to support operational requirements.
- Create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that enable rapid deployment and customization of engagement infrastructure across diverse mission scenarios.
- Lead planning and implementation for migration of on-prem capabilities into the AWS cloud.
- Customize capabilities to align with engagement scope, technical, and operational parameters.
- Develop automation frameworks to streamline provisioning and deployment processes.
- Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates and documentation.
- Ensure architecture supports rapid reconfiguration for dynamic mission needs.
- Implement security controls including encryption, namespace obfuscation, and hardened configurations.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to improve operational capabilities.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to implementation teams.
- Support troubleshooting of complex architectural issues during active operations.
Requirements:
- Must have U.S. Citizenship.
- Must have an active Secret clearance; Top Secret preferred.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must have an active "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional" certification
- Must reside in Northern Virginia, within 60 miles of Arlington, VA
- Must have 8+ years of experience designing cloud architectures
- Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.
- Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
- Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Desired Skills:
- Experience designing solutions for cybersecurity or incident response operations.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with Splunk.
- Experience migrating on-prem legacy systems to a cloud environment.
- Experience with Azure and Entra.
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST).
- Background in system administration or DevOps.
