Job Details
The Assistant Project Manager collaborates with Project Managers and is the owner representative and field representative of construction administration and site safety for the main hospital and all off sites. The Assistant Project Manager ensures compliance with construction documents, contract obligations, and quality assurance and vendor integration.
Responsibilities:
- May include indoor and outdoor inspections, oversight, and interactions 12 months a year, as well as stair and ladder climbing to access construction which is in progress
- Projects may require 7 day coverage and schedule shifts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English
- Previous construction experience, healthcare industry preferred
- Must demonstrate initiative and possess problem solving skills
- Field observation experience preferred Knowledge of safety compliance awareness
- Must possess excellent communication skills for all levels of customer service Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to multitask
- Able to read and understand construction documents and specifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of Autocad, Outlook, Word, Excel, required; must be flexible and able to work in stressful environment.
- At least 2 years construction experience leading or assisting and executing projects. Ability to be engaged in multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary Range
USD $33.00 - USD $39.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
