Key Responsibilities

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting financial and non-financial planning inputs.
  • Coordinate data and reporting inputs to enable timely and accurate financial reporting through the finance business center.
  • Monitor operating cost performance, analyze variances against budget and forecasts, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support project management activities in PMWeb, from approval through project closure, while maintaining an updated project register.
  • Prepare cost analyses, performance reports, and management information to support business reviews and decision-making.
  • Consolidate and prepare monthly performance reports for the senior management team.
  • Support KPI tracking, business planning activities, data quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects, including cost-saving analyses.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous professional work experience in finance, business analysis, accounting, performance management, or a related field.
  • University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and accounting-related software applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract, compile, interpret, and communicate data effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining the ability to summarize complex information for different audiences.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Professional integrity with the ability to handle confidential business information appropriately.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

About the Role

APM Terminals plays an important role in enabling global trade and supporting the broader Maersk network, while serving shipping lines, cargo owners, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and government stakeholders worldwide. As a Finance Analyst, you will help drive financial visibility, operational performance, and business decision-making by delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and effective cost management support.

Working closely with operational and finance teams, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, project tracking, and financial performance reviews. You will also play a key role in supporting data quality improvements and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the way we work.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys working with data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and partnering with stakeholders to support business performance.
