The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking a motivated and analytical Reporting & Data Analyst to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the P&C Projects, Remuneration and Data Governance Manager, this role will play a key part in delivering workforce insights that support strategic decision-making across the business.
Based within our national People & Culture function, you will work across a broad range of P&C activities including reporting, remuneration analysis, data visualisation, workforce trends, data governance, and people-focused projects. Working with complex datasets across multiple systems, you'll transform data into meaningful insights, helping drive continuous improvement and informed business decisions.

What You’ll Do
- Analyse and interpret P&C data from multiple sources to identify trends, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is data-driven, curious, and passionate about turning information into actionable insights.
- Qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a reporting, analytics, or data-focused role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
