At ING, we are building the future of lending by creating one consistent global way of working. We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Product Manager to join the Loan Booking, Distribution and Servicing product area within Tribe Lending.
A Product Manager owns the “what” of a product domain – defining the vision, outcomes, and roadmap of the product(s) in scope to deliver value for clients, business, and stakeholders. They work end-to-end across the value chain, aligning diverse stakeholders and ensuring teams focus on outcomes, not outputs.
At this level, the Product Manager is a product creator, expected to take ownership of execution, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and collaborate effectively across roles. Success depends on the ability to follow through, resolve ambiguity, and coordinate with others to ensure delivery. A proactive mindset in identifying and removing delivery blockers is essential. This includes shaping product strategy, owning commercial outcomes, leading the roadmap, and driving value delivery. In this position, you will report to the Product Area Lead – Loan Booking, Distribution and Servicing. The role covers managing the Availability Module and potentially other Gateway Modules, creating and driving the roadmap related to connections with Account Management Systems as well as Trade systems, driving standardisation/migration to target and setting the basis for fully automated client drawdown requests. This role also covers Fair Value team, valuation model for the Hold to Collect and Sell portfolio. Responsibilities include defining, implementing, and driving the roadmap and stakeholders. These can be internal ING departments like Lending Operations, Change, Trade Finance Services, Modelling team, Front Office, Risk Management and ING locations.
The Team
You’ll work in the Loan Booking, Distribution and Servicing product area, collaborating with Product Leads, Product Managers, Customer Journey Experts, Risk, and IT colleagues across the globe. Together you’ll shape the standards and controls that underpin a scalable, compliant, and efficient global lending platform.
Roles and responsibilities As Product Manager Availability, you will:
- Shape and own the overdraft roll out roadmap and migration to ING target landscape
- Facilitate the Fair Value model calculations, expansion of the model to different business lines
- Ensure standardisation across products and processes, balancing global consistency with local needs
- Develop success measures and monitor the performance and success of the (sub)processes in scope
- Support product teams and the end-to-end value chain in working according to the framework
- Proactively collaborate with stakeholders across business, model owners, risk, data, and IT to align design with execution
- Continuously improve the framework based on feedback, regulatory changes, and business priorities.
