The Cybersecurity Data Architect (“Architect”) is a member of the Cybersecurity team within the Office of the CISO and is responsible for designing and governing the organization’s enterprise cybersecurity data architecture. This role ensures security data is integrated, structured, and accessible to support detection, response, and informed decision-making.

The Architect defines and maintains data models, standards, and integration patterns across cybersecurity and enterprise platforms, enabling scalable and reliable data to support threat detection, incident response, and continuous monitoring. The role establishes and enforces cybersecurity data governance practices, including classification, retention, lineage, and access controls, in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.

As a senior technical resource, the Architect provides strategic guidance on data architecture, integration approaches, and emerging technologies, partnering across cybersecurity, IT, and data teams to support a resilient, data-driven cybersecurity program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, data engineering, or related IT roles.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing data architecture, data pipelines, or enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience working with cybersecurity technologies and data sources (e.g., SIEM, EDR, SOAR, cloud security platforms).
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments with distributed systems and integrated data platforms.
  • Experience supporting data governance or data management practices (e.g., classification, retention, access controls).
  • Experience working in a healthcare organization or highly regulated environment.
  • Experience with cloud-based or hybrid data platforms supporting cybersecurity use cases.
