JOB SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst II will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for business operations. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The individual will contribute to both recurring financial processes and ad-hoc analytical projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Partner with business stakeholders to provide visibility into financial performance and support decision-making
  • Perform month-end expense close process by applying a working knowledge of accounting rules and financial concepts and ensure integrity and accuracy of expense reporting
  • Produce timely and accurate financial reporting review packages, including KPI reports, monthly presentation of variance analysis to business function, board reporting, quarterly product reviews, budget, etc.
  • Update spend forecast monthly in collaboration with business partners and conduct analysis on risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
  • Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial planning activities.
  • Maintain and improve process documentation and reporting tools
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and operational decisions

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting tools; SAP, NetSuite and Power BI experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively multi-task projects with competing priorities; make decisions under pressure and work under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and within various teams
