About the Position:
The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and manages capital improvement and infrastructure projects that support the safe, efficient, and continued development of Blue Grass Airport. The position works across the Airport and with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to move projects from planning through completion. Project Managers may also be assigned responsibility for specialized programs, including Environmental Compliance, based on departmental needs, qualifications, experience, and workload.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, planning, environmental science, or another technical or closely related field appropriate to the responsibilities of the position. Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in project management, planning, design, construction, engineering, or a related technical field. Experience coordinating or overseeing consultants, contractors, professional service providers, project teams, or other project resources is required.
