THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Design, build, test, implement and coordinate operation of security systems within the FIFA environment.
- Support FIFA Product Managers, as well as other FIFA functions to ensure FIFA’s new and existing digital products comply with cybersecurity standards and guidelines.
- Lead vulnerability & patch management, coordinate penetration tests, third party risk management and plan concrete action to remediate the findings.
- Provide security architecture expertise and consulting/advisory to support business and IT solutions in designing and implementing secure solutions.
- Review AI based solutions, concepts, and processes.
- Review current security measures, recommend enhancements, identify areas of weakness, and respond promptly to possible security breaches.
- Lead coordination of Cloud Security standards and compliance monitoring as well as the remediation plan.
- Coordinate regular system tests and ensure the continuous monitoring of information security.
- Execute the Cybersecurity Programme as defined in the Roadmap.
- Actively participate to investigations on Cybersecurity incidents.
- Support incident response and crisis preparedness (incl. simulations and technical exercises).
- Plan, execute and deliver on time, on scope and within budget on projects directly assigned to her/him.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Proven track record in crafting comprehensive security policies and procedures, guiding technology teams through secure and continuous deployment practices.
- Familiar with compliance initiatives and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, GDPR, PCI DSS and FedRAMP.
- Experience in securing Cloud Technologies and in Secure Development Lifecycle Experience with professional execution of cyber security projects as a project manager as well as excellent and step-by-step communication.
- Client oriented, efficient and effective.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines Excellent planning, documentation and organizational skills Self-disciplined and self-starter and able to work independently.
- At ease at working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Professional certifications in the area of cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM, CISA) would be an advantage.
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in: vulnerability scanning and auditing tools; enterprise-scale cloud, network, firewall, endpoint detection and response architectures and products.
- Broad understanding of Firewalls and Network Security (Palo Alto, Fortigate etc.).
- Broad understanding of mail security practices (DMARC, DKIM, SPF etc.).
- Broad understanding of in cloud security principles and frameworks.
- Broad understanding of log management and aggregation (SIEM).
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity incident management.
- Fluent in English; Proficiency in any other FIFA language (F / ES / GER) is an asset.
- Willingness to travel to specific events.
- Readiness for stand-by duties during specific events.
