Full description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final closeout.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and interior finish systems. This role will be responsible for project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, documentation, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through completion and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to confirm scope and identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, billing, and project documentation.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.
  • Identify project risks and develop solutions to minimize cost, schedule, and quality impacts.
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to clients, stakeholders, and company leadership.
  • Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to ensure a smooth project handoff and execution.
  • Oversee punch-list completion, final documentation, turnover, and project closeout.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial interior construction.
  • Hands-on experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior finishes.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project execution.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, clients, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
