Work you will do

Deloitte’s Engineering offers help to enable organization’s end-to-end journey from on-premise legacy systems to the cloud, from design through deployment, and leading to the ultimate destination—a transformed organization primed for growth.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible to:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
  • Develop and optimize data models (dimensional modelling)
  • Work with data warehouses / lakehouse platforms
  • Ensure data quality and performance tuning
  • Support production workloads and ongoing enhancements

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • Has at least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Has Strong SQL (must-have)
  • Experience with dbt
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake (at least one)
  • Experience with Python (e.g. pandas / PySpark)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Cloud Experience:
  • Azure (preferred): e.g. Data Factory (ADF), ADLS, Synapse, Azure Functions
  • AWS (preferred): e.g. S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift
  • GCP (nice to have)
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow)
  • CI/CD and version control (e.g. Git)
  • Basic understanding of GenAI / LLM use cases in data engineering

To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:

  • Has Strong SQL (must-have)
  • Experience with dbt
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake (at least one)
  • Experience with Python (e.g. pandas / PySpark)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
