Full description

Giotto.ai is a Switzerland-based AI company building intelligence systems for Switzerland and Europe.

Our mission is to build sovereign AI capabilities that enable Switzerland and Europe to preserve their strategic independence, cultural identity, and core values while achieving world-class performance in advanced reasoning systems.

Our technology focuses on new architectures for reasoning and efficient AI systems. Giotto.ai has demonstrated strong research performance in international AI benchmarks such as ARC-AGI and is now building the next generation of production AI systems.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager to own the product feedback and delivery loop across Giotto.ai's user-facing products.

This role sits at the intersection of customers, product design, engineering, and data. You will turn qualitative feedback and product-usage signals into a clear, prioritized roadmap; shape high-level user journeys and UX/UI concepts; define the metrics needed to understand adoption and behavior; and translate product decisions into well-structured work for the engineering Kanban.

You will work directly with users throughout the product lifecycle by proactively arranging interviews, feedback calls, usability tests, QA sessions, and post-release check-ins. You will synthesize what you learn, identify the underlying problems, validate potential solutions, and ensure the feedback loop is closed.

You will partner closely with engineering to align on scope, technical feasibility, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and delivery trade-offs. This is a practical, execution-oriented role for someone who is equally comfortable speaking with users, sketching a workflow, analyzing data, and refining issues with engineers.

Depending on experience, the role may involve owning a product area or leading a cross-functional feature squad.

What You Will Do

  • Gather and synthesize feedback from customer conversations, support channels, sales and delivery teams, QA sessions, and product-usage data.
  • Proactively contact users to understand their goals, workflows, blockers, and unmet needs, and run structured interviews, discovery calls, feedback sessions, usability tests, beta programs, and user-acceptance sessions.
  • Distinguish symptoms from root problems and convert insights into clear problem statements, opportunities, hypotheses, and product requirements.
  • Maintain and prioritize the roadmap and backlog by balancing user value, strategic importance, commercial impact, technical effort, risk, dependencies, and learning potential.
  • Create high-level product designs, including user journeys, information architecture, process diagrams, wireframes, and UX/UI sketches that are detailed enough to align users, designers, and engineers.
  • Define product goals, KPIs, and event-tracking requirements, including metrics for activation, adoption, engagement, feature usage, retention, task completion, and customer outcomes.
  • Work with engineering and data stakeholders to implement product instrumentation and dashboards, review usage patterns and cohorts, and use evidence to guide product decisions.
  • Translate product initiatives into well-structured epics, user stories, and Kanban issues with context, rationale, scope, acceptance criteria, edge cases, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
  • Lead backlog refinement and regular product-engineering alignment, clarify ambiguity, support technical trade-offs, and keep delivery focused on user outcomes.
  • Coordinate functional QA, user-acceptance testing, release readiness, and customer validation; then monitor adoption and feedback after release and define follow-up iterations or corrective actions.
  • Communicate priorities, roadmap changes, decisions, and learnings clearly across product, engineering, delivery, sales, and leadership, while maintaining concise product documentation and decision records.

Core Skills & Tools

  • Product discovery and user research
  • Roadmapping, prioritization, and backlog management
  • Kanban and issue tracking, such as Linear, Jira, or GitHub Projects
  • User flows, wireframing, and high-level UX/UI design, using tools such as Figma, FigJam, or Miro
  • Product analytics, event tracking, dashboards, and experimentation
  • QA, user-acceptance testing, and release validation
  • B2B software, technical product development, and AI/LLM product fundamentals

Required Profile

  • Mid-senior or senior Product Manager with 3+ years of product management or product-owner experience on B2B software, enterprise products, developer tools, AI systems, or similarly technical products.
  • Proven ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or unstructured feedback into well-framed problems and actionable priorities.
  • Strong experience conducting customer interviews, product discovery, usability tests, and structured feedback sessions.
  • Ability to create clear high-level UX/UI concepts, user flows, and wireframes without depending on a finished visual design.
  • Experience defining product metrics, analytics events, dashboards, or experimentation plans, and using data to evaluate adoption and outcomes.
  • Excellent backlog-management and issue-writing skills, with strong attention to acceptance criteria, edge cases, dependencies, and delivery clarity.
  • Strong technical literacy and the ability to work effectively with software, machine learning, data, and infrastructure engineers.
  • Comfortable moving between strategic prioritization and detailed delivery work, making pragmatic trade-offs in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English, with the ability to explain product decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, user-focused, and comfortable working in fast-moving research and production environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI, LLMs, machine learning, data infrastructure, developer tooling, or enterprise AI products.
  • Hands-on familiarity with product analytics tools such as PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to query or analyze product data using SQL.
  • Experience with Figma, rapid prototyping, and lightweight interaction design.
  • Experience in zero-to-one product development or an early-stage technology company.
  • Experience with enterprise, on-premises, secure, or regulated customer environments.
  • Previous experience in engineering, data, design, solutions engineering, delivery, or technical consulting.
  • German, French, or Italian is a plus.

Location & Work Style

We offer full-time employment in Switzerland and may also consider a contractorship, depending on location and profile.

Hybrid model:

  • Remote work fully supported
  • Team gathers one week per month in the Swiss office
