DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Drive lifecycle of data and analytics foundational elements. Collaborate with software development Scrum teams to build and enhance an internal data ingestion and transformation platform. Engage with key stakeholders across analytics, business, and technology to drive innovative solutions that prioritize customer needs and business impact. Engage with key customers, leadership, internal architecture, engineering, and operations teams to deliver priorities. Define requirements to enable telemetry, automation, and alerting capabilities for data platforms. Promote data quality and governance, as well as best practices on AWS cloud, network security, risk and compliance. Set vision and strategic direction for tech teams to drive the creation of the list of objectives, key results, and roadmaps. Develop and implement strategic product roadmaps to enhance user engagement and drive business growth through effective product planning and delivery. Leverage data analytics and insights to inform strategic decisions, optimizing processes, and improving product performance. Oversee the operational aspects of product and platform management to ensure high availability, performance, and user satisfaction. Manage end-to-end data publishing process, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Product Management, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Delivery Manager, Product/Program Manager, Systems QA Analyst, Product Development, Product Owner, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Product Management, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Delivery Manager, Product/Program Manager, Systems QA Analyst, Product Development, Product Owner, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and utilizing project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall to ensure successful project execution; Implementing Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban to enhance team collaboration, improve productivity, and accelerate product development cycles; Designing scalable and robust system architectures using AWS cloud services; utilizing containerization using Docker container, Kubernetes, microservice architecture, and databases including Postgres, Oracle On-premise and cloud; utilizing messaging platforms including Kafka and AWS SQS; Monitoring all services and APIs using Grafana and CICD tools including Jenkins and GitHub; leveraging auto-scaling and service discovery with AWS IAM, identity design patterns, and security best practices; Creating dynamic and interactive reports and presentations using advanced Excel and PowerPoint functionalities, including macros, pivot tables, and data visualization tools; Using JIRA Align to create themes and initiatives along with product roadmap; Utilizing JIRA for project tracking, issue management, and workflow optimization to enhance team efficiency and project transparency; Developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure product quality and reliability using automated tools and frameworks, including Bitbucket with Jules Pipelines; Designing and deploying scalable data analytics solutions using AWS services including EC2, EKS, Lambda, Aurora Postgres DB, DynamoDB, EMR, IAM, CloudWatch, and Athena; Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and utilizing Kafka messaging systems to enable seamless data exchange and real-time communication; Designing and implementing Extract Transform and Load (ETL) and Extract Load and Transform (ELT) processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accessibility; Utilizing AWS Glue to automate the ETL process, enabling efficient data integration and transformation for analytics and reporting; and Utilizing AWS Glue Data Catalog to ensure accurate metadata management and data discovery across the organization.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for meetings at team sites for planning activities and internal and external conferences.
