As a Python Developer - Senior Associate, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Within our Advisory practice, you will focus on analyzing client needs, implementing software solutions, and providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to build meaningful client connections and navigate increasingly complex situations. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while embracing ambiguity. This role involves guiding and mentoring others, maintaining professional standards, and using critical thinking to break down complex concepts.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organizations. Responsibilities

- Developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform to meet the specific needs of insurance organizations - Designing, coding, and testing software solutions to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes - Analyzing client needs and implementing software solutions that align with strategic objectives - Providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications - Collaborating with clients to optimize the use of Guidewire software for policy administration, claims management, and billing - Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex concepts and develop innovative solutions - Integrating Guidewire software solutions with other systems to enable seamless data exchange and process automation - Building meaningful client connections and anticipating the needs of teams and clients - Navigating complex situations and using critical thinking to solve problems and deliver quality work - Upholding professional and technical standards while mentoring and guiding junior team members

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's (B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MSc, MS, BCA or equivalent) degree - At least 5 years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain - Hands-on experience configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter (e.g., product model, business rules, workflows). Professional experience working directly on the Guidewire platform, including Gosu scripting, UI configuration, and Data Model extensions. Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases, including writing SQL queries. - Oral and written proficiency in English required
