About the Role
BigMarker is looking for a highly-organized Project Manager to support the facilitation of both internal and client-facing design and development projects, from simple sprints to complex, long-term programs and custom solutions.
Project Manager responsibilities include acting as a Scrum Master and working closely with our product team to prepare and coordinate comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and risk management, maintaining project documentation, and managing communication and integration across teams. A key focus of this role involves managing custom solutions tailored to our clients, with a specific emphasis on events, e-learning, hubs, and linking comprehensive webinar programs and events.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate across teams to deliver results on deadlines. Ultimately, the Project Manager's duties are to help ensure that projects are completed on time, and in accordance with high-quality standards.
A successful Project Manager should bring a cross-functional toolkit, including a solid understanding of Agile methodologies (acting as Scrum Master), product design, software development lifecycle management, and product marketing, as well as strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn and build upon existing knowledge of the software industry.

Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of custom solutions tailored to client needs, focusing heavily on events, e-learning platforms, and digital hubs.
- Strategize and execute the linking of webinar programs and events to create cohesive, continuous user journeys and content ecosystems.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, information, and communications.
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
- Make sure that project objectives are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved as projects evolve.
- Help with budgeting and resource planning.
- Analyze risks and opportunities.
- Monitor project progress, monitor and address any issues and risks that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders.
- Use tools to monitor timelines, working hours, plans, and expenditures.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery, specifically managing custom tech solutions.
- Familiarity with the events industry, e-learning platforms, hubs, and linking webinar programs.
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Basecamp, Trello).
